Luck went both ways, making things interesting.
A long passed gobbo at the end nearly made it 2-2, had me fairly worried.

First I thought I'd get smashed up good considering all those sauruses AND a krox. But Garax had his fair share of bad luck scoring pows initially which allowed me to keep my gobs on the pitch. Even went further than that as Splooge went homing missile and consistantly focused his piling on that nasty guard saurus, which eventually succeeded. A funny and welcome addition was a gobo BH'ing another saurus.
In the end it all came down pretty much to the little guys, skinks vs gobs. Skinks were way too fast and slippery for the lazy gobos tho. Gobs were very good in the air, but got dominated on the ground by extremely dodgy and ferocious skinks. A spread out cage of gobs was masterfully penetrated by the skinks (including six dodges and a blitz) which eventually resulted in the 2-0 leezard lead.
