“Wow. a totally crazy result decided by a few freakish rolls.
A rather sick game where the orcs generally out-played the rotters for most of the match. The rotters' touchdowns were both very lucky whilst the orcs were scuppered by a beastman's 4+,3+ dodging and a single dice POW, then failing a go-for-it in the last turn to score. As if that was bad, for a foul-less game the injuries were brutal:
beast regenerates a RIP on turn 1.
rotter regenerates a niggle
rotter regenerates a RIP
beastman suffers a niggle
beast niggles a thrower (apothecaried)
beast RIPs a blitzer (on T16)
So in a game where the orcs caused crucifying casualties, the rotters ended up better than they started out (free rotter), while the orcs lost a blitzer.
Here's wishing better luck to Shakedown in the future... he played very well and was a sportsmanlike opponent throughout in a game that was decided by the dice.”
