We went into this game knowing that it would probably be the most difficult and potentially damaging match of the season. The plan was to minimise casualties and possibly pick up a few SPP from completions.

The match went much better than expected with only the one SI which was saved by the apo and to add icing to the cake we managed to SI ourselves towards the end of the match, proving that we should be more than capable of bashing some of the other teams in the div.

At the end of the day however it was a predicted loss. Bacillen never really gave us a chance of mounting a decent attack and his 3 guarding BOB's made defence difficult but we persevered. My catchers were easily the best of my players, refusing to go down under a storm of blocks and helped to slow down the orcs offensive push.

Twahnlows:
3 - Cote Hanga : Safe hands at the back of the line provided a solid foundation for the orcs. He even chipped in with a couple of good blocks helping to clear the way.
2 - Spear Tackla : Mainly found himself on the defense, completing half the blocks that the other BOB's did but at the end of the match he showed some great skill to pick up the loose ball and score a TD. Wonderfully un-BOB like.
1 - Geebee Haitch : This blodging lineorc seemed to be in all the right places to make critical blocks and soak up a few of his own. Besides the BOB's this orc was one of the key figures in nullifying any chance we had of getting the ball.

Expecting a thumping the clever humies brought some smelling salts to the game and even managed to land a black orc in trouble with the local law and media.

Sadly, this did not really even the odds fight wise though it did ensure a steady supply of humies for the Crash boys to whack.

And whack they did ! The humies only took the ball over the halfway once when they kicked off to start the 2nd half. It simply wasn't safe to venture near the Crash lines in the first half and attempts to do so were firmly resisted.

Twahnlow Votes

3 Votes - Lord Malvern
This game was a fight, and Lord Malvern the fought hardest and longest of all his fellows.

2 Votes - Klar'Thanoth
Sure you don't see him in the list, Klar didn't actually DO anything. Most importantly though was that he got hit countless times and more often than not he seemed to enjoy it ! He kept just hanging around for more and more thumpings. His bravery set a fine example for his team.

1 Vote - James Tillinghast
Young James had a quiet day out but his only hit of the day was the one Kadath fans enjoyed most, putting star Chukka Cote Hanga out of this game, and the next.
