“A ridiculously brutal match! 1 BH out of 9 Casaulties and 2 failed death regens!

Somehow my halflings found themselves in a Champion's Cup Challenge tourney (Hel's Nilfheim Challenge) with only Khemri and Undead!

Lovely. Lord Chaos came in a bit gimped. Only 3 mummies and 12 players so I figured maybe I have a chance.

Flings played an excellent first half, even killing his best throw-ra and his Leader. We also kept pressure on the ball and kept the khems far from the end zone.

The second half started OK. The Casualties and KOs were starting to compile but we started the half with a 10-11 man advantage. Managed a score in three turns and turned back to defense. Trying to weather the storm again. Managed to pop the ball and keep good positioning, but LordChaos pulled off a pretty crazy play...2 GFIs, 4+ dodge, 4+ pickup, 4+throw, 4+ catch. He had RRs for most those granted, but still a pretty absurd play. It works and we go to overtime. Sweltering heat and poor KOs and suddenly I have 5 players against 9!!

So I sit up for the OTS fling throw (with my Pro Treeman) and my luck continues... the lone tree is hit by a rock!!!

Well, somehow we manage a defense. By the end of the half I had two players on the field. Had 2 good break away chances, but LordChaos was always able to knock me down sans RR... though he burned up all his 4+s on that last TD and couldn t pick up the ball on repeated tries.

So the game ends 1-1 and the Khems win the coin toss... GOOD! Let them play some more Khemri!!! We ve had our fill!
