“The DP came up against a force of nature in this one. What was billed as a recovery match left the Purpose wondering what they did to make Uncontrolled Lust so mad. He started scoring on the fourth turn of the first half and decided that he wouldn't stopp till he had another. Add in the fact that he knocked the ball out of both of the legitamate scoring drives and you have a superstar in the making. Hats off to a big time performer.”
He left an impressive pile of knocked out players in his wake, and badly hurt one dark elf who stood too close to the sidelines when Lust decided that was the fastest way to the end zone.
Add in a few dodges into absurd tackle zones to take the ball (his ball!) away from the dark elves, and I find it hard to see how the sportscasters could feel that Brains Desired was the MVP.
The Dark Purpose...well, they certainly didn't have their A game. Tez'neth Mezzat had a solid effort, knocking players out, keeping pressure on the ball, completing a few passes, keeping our guys nervous on the sidelines...but overall, the ball gods just didn't like them on the day.”
