tautology has clearly done has homework pretty badly, but that’s not really my problem, isn’t?

Nandorins is in a building stage before the Fumbbl Cup and I see no reason to take any chances losing players trying to get the ball back from a better team. The easy way to (try) making a better team (who stalls) score is fouling and bashing those players insight .oO(What was rather fun, somehow suddenly I understand the ones playing chaos and other teams like that…)

Btw. tautology learn to count: I made two fouls in first half and two in second half ;o)

I must admit that I had hoped for a real elf bowl game with lots of touchdowns, but that was clearly not tautologys idea about the game. With 3-4 players down on his half he still preferred to cage the ball around in the back filed not willing to attack at all, and then I just tried to take out his scorings possibilities and hoping for a failed dodge or something when he moved the cage around. I’m just happy to see Nuffle punish an elf play like this with that snake eyes at the final pass attempt.

Over and out…

btw.

#1 Arthur Sharpend Horner – Dead (RIP)
#4 Dark St Anshelm – Broken Ribs (MNG)
An interesting match, and not what I expected from a coach like Kfoged...

After some less than ideal luck for him, we managed to steal the ball in the first half. I secured it, then Kfoged decided to apply no pressure at all on defense, instead foulng my team every turn.

I understand that some folks advocate this strategy, but it is rarely effective against a good coach. I recommend that Kfoged instead learn to play defense.

In the second half I advance with every intention of scoring.

My dice were never coopererative however, and I ended up burning a reroll every turn before I could attempt a pass. Fortunately, Kfoged was again unable to muster any sort of pressure on the ball, so I was able to hold it safely.

On my final turn, I of course failed my pass with the traditional snake-eyes, allowing Kfoged an undeserved tie.

I had been looking forward to playing the legendary Nandorins, I find that such teams are what make FUMBBL a great place. I had thought to put it next the great and memorable games my Dark Elves have had against the Blood Falcons and the Disgruntled Evangelists and Burnville Godfathers and Trees and It Hurts So Good and so many others.

Too bad it was a boring waste of time with an unsatisfying (and unmerited) ending.
