“My first FUMBBL Cup game ever, and it sort of ended up as i expected, though not as i had hoped :-)
I did not expect to win, though i had a tiny hope that i might pull it off with some lucky rolls, instead my primary weapon managed to get himself Badly hurt on a failed dodge roll to score the 1-1 equalizer in turn 8 of the first half. So, instead of getting 1-1, and then hopefully 2-1 on the 1'st turn of the second half, i ended up without my 1 hope of winning :-)
Torso surgically removed my other possible threats long before we got that far though :-) My Strip-Ball Wardancer was promply KO'ed in the 1'st turn by a dirty scoundrel foul'ing him, and unfortunately my WD decided to stay in that box far out into the second half. And my Treeman was also badly hurt early on, leaving me with little to put up for the LoS slaughter.
I could and should have scored atleast 1 TD, but with a load of bloody 1's and to few rerolls to cover up with, it ended with 0 TDs.
Was a fun game though, and a very sporty behaviour from both Coaches.”

I was quite surprised to see a sub 150 CR coach on my play list when I thought I applied for the high CR qualifiers. Anyway, the only chance Obi-Wan had was his one turner, who didn't get to do his magic - being BHd on a failed dodge and no Ironman handicap to save him. For the rest it wasn't much of a match anyway, good fortune on my side and bad dice on Obi-Wan's without rerolls to cover for it.
Synn suggested I take Nobbla for the match since I had only two tacklers. Turned out he didn't start the chainsaw until turn 5, and then the ref ejected him for second half! :P
