“Ltrrsl is truly earning himself a name as the team's enforcer. The Skinks won the toss and immediately Ltrrsl launched himself from the line, running straight over top of Kirk Hammett, in the process making him part of the field. The opposing Minotaur attempted to duplicate Ltrrsl's efforts, but was only able to KO a nearby skink and when a beastman was tripped dodging, Thshltraeeay scampered over the line for the first score. Two unlucky rolls first up from the minotaur gave slumbering skink a great opportunity to double their lead but Thshltraeeay was unable to hold the ball and Foo Fighters surged back the other way. Some excellent cover defence by Ptts turned the ball over and Lev-ler-nae managed to pick up his first score of the game. At the restart however Ptts was made to pay for his efforts, picking up an injury that is likely to cause him to miss many games over his future career. When Marilyn Maon was unable to collect the ball Aouoedllphss showed typical skink bravery in attempting to dart through the entire chaos defensive line but was sadly cut down.

As the second half got underway, upset Foo Fighters fans accosted the ref as he came onto the field and arranged for his replacement. The missing Ptts left a large gap in the lizardman lines but the lizards quickly outflanked their slower opponents and penetrated the opposing zone after another fumble. Thshltraeeay saw his last of the action though as he attempted to dart back and take part in a 3 skink blitz, was knocked while passing the minotaur and carried from the field. Ltrssl managed one more badly hurt on the following play, but after that the lizards seemed to be running out of steam, knocking out a few more opponents but not finding the extra effort for a casualty. Down to 5 left on the field, the chaos team had no chance of stopping Lev-ler-nae from darting over for his second score. A 3 turn riot then ended the match as Slumbering Skink ran out 3-0 winners.

The skinks are especially delighted at news an apothecary will be joining the side for their next match although this means they will need to play somewhat understrength as only 5 players will be fit. Ptts also looks like having a short career as a niggling injury at this early stage could seriously set back his development as a player.”
