“this was a game that saw both team have there share of good luck and bad. the fatties got the kick off and due to a premature bomb explosition that almost took the life of a halfing they were able to run ahead and score. onlt having three turns to our half left we tryed to create as much havoc as possible. starting the second half we took the feild feeling good about our chance when suddenly the fatties fans stormed the feild. they are called fatties for a reason! when the heard of cattle has passed tho it left only 5 gnomes awake. it was too big a shock and before we knew it it was 2-0. we had a chance to score but a failed catch attempt and failed pick up of the ball left us off the score board. we did take out our anger on those poor little halfs tho. in turn 7 of the second half the were all hurt or ko'ed. we would like a rematch someday. but until then grats to the coach on a fine preformance and grats on the win”
The match was divided into one half with luck each. The first one belonged to bigkahunna, and he really got me worried after having spent my apo pretty early on and none of his many deadly weapons being ejected after I fought my way to a TD.
In the 2nd part a crucial event took place that secured my victory. The fans broke through the fences and charged the pits, and basically the whole LOS (consisting of almost all bigkahunnas players) were swept away by the flood. In all the confusion Gob-Gob managed to fling a halfling over the now prone LOS and the ball was in the hands of the Fatties! One of the cannons tried to block the way, but the Fatties scored a most impressive (and very lucky) TD.
The rest of the match was basically a big battle on the middle of the field, and when it ended the Fatties were down to just their two big guys.
Gnarl the Ferocious was once again elected MVP, despite costing the team 5 blitzes because of failed Wild Animal rolls. The SPP's pushed him into the Super-Star rank, but sadly the crowd pleasing minotaur blitzer age niggled. He will keep playing for the team though, and in a way it's comforting to know that when he will finally be killed or crippled it will be less tragic since he has his niggle.
