An entertaining match, that swayed back and forth and involved two rather tactical and reasonable unbashy teams.

In the first half the Wendel Watos had some rough rolls, failing a lot of dodges. The Nigglas, who got the kickoff, pressed through their opponents defenses with an ever changing cage and eventuall scored a TD. Watos went for a 2-turn blitz for an equalizer, but failed by a spiteful missed GFI just across the end zone line.

In the second half the luck changed. What finally won the match for the Watos was the Nigglaz inability to injure their opponents. Despite taking a ferocious beating at times they only lost 1 player to a KO (by a crowd surf), while KO'ing 2 bob's and an orc blitzer. They also made two really spectacular blitzes on my ball carrier in the 2nd half, that even had Dhaktokh himself slightly amazed over his fortune :)

Best player of the match was easily The Apple, scoring 2 TD's for his team and naturally being elected MVP. Worst player was Jujub da Basha, who failed about 6 or 7 stupidity rolls throughout the match.

Thanks for the match, Dhak. Looking forward to a rematch some day.

PS. Managed to age niggle another emergin star. I got to stop that trend...

"The elder wizard talked for hours after the game about tactics, but The Apple didn´t hear a word. Now he had showned everybody, including the old chap, that he was the team´s leader. If only his dad had seen the game. His dad, the famous breakNtake-beatboy (noone knew where his nickname was from) who died on the pitch seven years earlier, killed by an angry and frustrated troll... Suddenly he started crying and ran out of the room, only to be tackled by some furious orcs who were waiting outside for him. After a hard fight, The Apple hit on of the blitzers so hard over the cheek the blitzer stopped the fight, they decided to go for an ale together. The Apple did not make it to the next day´s training, but he was lucky, the old wizard understood and no penalty was given."

Thanks for a sweet game din gamle pirog!
