Good game, but sometimes the important dicerolls just fall the other way.

1st half
(STR5 wolf, no show, but my opponents Troll didnt show either, so i guess that sort of evens out)
My remaining wolf trips on in the endzone with the ball. Then gets up and trips again and BHs him self. Guess he couldnt handle the pressure.
Lost my 2 ghouls as well early/mid 1st half. Even "The chewer" missed a 2+ gfi to blitz the ball carrier and fell over.
My opponent played well and capitilized on his opportunity and took the lead 1-0.

2nd half
The game lightened up a bit in the 2nd half for me, and managed to upset the orcs offense. By holding him around the line of scrimmage. Mainly be sending most of his BOBs to the injury box KOed or BH.
Mid half he opted for a sidesweep, which game me an opportunity to do a crowdpush on his ballcarrier. Had a nice throw in, grabbed the ball and headed for the endzone.
Unfortunately my opponent who played well, had one of his best rounds, managing a couple of nice dodge rolls, which ended in a blitz on my ball carrier, and the ball ended up in the hands of his Blodge goblin.
I never managed to get the ball back despite 4db against him, and the game ended.

Sometimes the dice just doesnt favor you. Thats the game of Bloodbowl. Was a good fun game though. Im ready for a rematch anytime.

An accurate report from Scarlock.

When the St5 Wolf niggled out at the start of the game, I praised Nuffle. Quite how I was going to contain this monster was my main worry going into this one, and having that headache off of my mind was most welcome. The 13 spp Troll wasn't much of a trade-off, but I was thankful.

The Necro drive in the first half was tight and had good direction, I thought that I'd just about covered the switch, but the remaining Wolf survived a 1db to make a break for the endzone, only to fail the GFI. With both Ghouls out, and the Wights tied up, the greater Orc Ma meant that moving the ball from one endzone to the other was managed without too much trouble. The Wolf BH'ing himself was a lucky bonus.

Second half, and 11 Orcs receiving against a 10-man Wolfless, Ghouless Necro team, and I was relatively confident. Scarlock, however, played excellent defence, and only committed his players to TZ's when he knew his guards could overpower the BOB depleted (the weak point of this team - only one BOB with block at TR 200+ is not nearly enough) green line. Only the lucky dice-rolls that my opponent described kept the score at 1-0.

Overall, the luck meter doesn't tell the story, Nuffle smiled upon the Monsters this day. Scarlock was an excellent opponent, and took the rolls with good humour, that second half exhausted me trying to think of a way through the thick, Zombie line! Rematch is hopefully on the minute the teams put 10 games between each other, and a coach added to the Whitelist.
