“Another fun game between us, with plenty of action, though whilst the Khemri lost I feel that the Wood Elves had the worst of it with 1 dead and 2 SI.
Mummys did well and the tactics were good, but the afilure to pick up the ball in the first half for 2 turns was crucial to that TD by the Wood Elves.
I am not displeased with the game, and the fact that a Mummy got a skill was a major bonus. i also bought a Thro-ra with its valuble Sure Hands from the winnings :)

...and come it did. The stats speak for themselves, the team was ravaged, with one fatality and several players out of the next game, as well as some longer term injuries.
What was surprising was the Legends scoring again, when the Bones appeared to forget about the ball and contented themselves with bashing Elves!
From then on in, it was a case of the Elves running from their stronger opponents, and there were many amusing incidents involving sprinting Mummies - some who demonstrated exceptional agility!
As it was, the Bones scored in the 2nd but did not leave enough time for a comeback. The Legends ran back to their own endzone, tempting the Bones in, and just as bodies were gonna roll, the referee brought an end to the contest.
As is fitting for such an entertaining game, there was an excellent turnout and both teams were able to increase their budgets.
However, even with a new Linelday, the Legends are far short of a full roster for their next game. As their coach was quoted as saying, anyone but Khemri would suffice!”
