#7 Selinist – Dead (RIP)
Another great battle with my buddy, SteelThunder. This one was a real nailbiter. The Raiders had to fight tooth and nail to maintain their undefeated record. The Sith had a couple of good chances to pull it out and did a great job of handling my high pressure defense.

I just kept throwing bodies at the ball, hoping for the best. A ton of stuns and KOs withered my D, but Felfallon was able to stay on her feet, trip up Dooku s TD run and then recover the loose ball herself and break-away for the clincher. Whew.

SteelThunder did a good job managing his bloodthirsty vamps, who seemed pretty keen to bite thralls, but were content to just stun a lot (with a few KOs). Looking forward to the next time we meet up... always real tight games (in person or on fumbbl).

#13 TK 002 – Smashed Hip (-MA)
A classic battle this one was. The Sith Darklords, looking for a challenge worthy of their might found it iin the Rivendale River Raiders. This was a very close match the entire game. The agile elves found a way to escape doom and score in the first half, but the always dangerous Sith tied it up by the end of the first half with a Dark Side of the Force pass play.

With some crushing hits happening and multiple elves finding their way to the K.O. bin, it was looking like the River Raiders would be unable to stop the advance of the Sith. Trying all the tricks they could, the elves managed to slow the Sith untill there was a huge pile up trying to get to the loose ball. Darth Plaguis, deep downfield, knocked out the last deep defender, leaving him open for a run. All the Sith had to do was get the ball to him.

Count Dooku, on an amazing blitz play earlier along with his thralls had stunned several elves leaving only one path to victory. Dooku got to the ball and all he had to do was dodge out a few times (3+, 2+, 2+ all with Dodge skill and 1 reroll left) and hand the ball off to Plaguis for the Sith win. Sadly one lone elf managed to trip up Dooku who fell stunned and fumbled the ball out of bounds.

The ensuing fumble was recovered by the elves who managed to get it downfield to a fellow elf sidestepper. The Sith had one last chance, and Darth Malek used the teams reroll to stave off his bloodlust and though he had a 2-die block on the elf, could only come up with a push.

The elf nimbly escaped and scored the winning TD. Excellent game, right down to the end. The Darklords leave their tainted mark upon their opponents, having killed Selinist in battle. Some thralls got hurt, but then again, isn't that what they are there for?

Excellent game against Bampf, one of my good friends, and one of the best BB coaches you could ever hope to play against.
