This game got away to a vicious start with the Dwarf team lead by Sp00n blocking violently and knocking prone the Norse LOS. They then proceeded to crash and bash their way forward for what turned out to be a valiantly defended, yet still unstoppable touchdown. Following the TD the dwarf kicker misplaced his kick and the ball was placed in the eager hands of Steinn Sverd. His eyes were grimly set on the distant touchdown line. Thankfully the Norse blitzing crew were able to clear the line of scrimmage, and the lone runner left in defense was not enough to stop Steinn from scoring the equaliser. This ended the first half.

The second half started with the Dwarf kicker booting the ball deep into the Norse half. Alfi Leggr the Norse catcher broke from the LOS and went deep into the Dwarven territory. Again the lone Dwarven runner left in defense was not able to stop him from making it to the touchdown line where he anticipated the throw from Spjot the Thrower. He was not dissapointed as a beatiful long bomb throw came whistling into his safe hands. it looked a sure thing that the Norse would score but the Dwarfs had another thing in mind.

Both Runners were able to make it next to Afli, and impose their tackle zones. He wasn't as worried as he should of been. The dodge was terrible. First one Dwarf then the other grabbed him and he was unable to shrug the tackles and came crashing down.

This was enough for the Dwarfs to pounce on the loose ball, and slowly like the movement of glacial ice they trudged their way forward to their own touchdown line. The Norse tried everything they could but after they were reduced to two men the game was lost. The Dwarfs made it to the other end of the field just prior to the game ending, and the 2-1 lead was unassailable.

Both coaches plan on visiting the temple of Nuffle and making more offers, as it was, Nuffle did not help either of them. He seemed to enjoy taunting them both with bad luck.

Four Stonecutters have trained Dorin Lightforge to be much more agile, and did not sustain any injuries in the win. They are moving strength to strength and next week looks very good for them.

Fjorir Konungr are still looking capable of winning, and were lucky not to have any players badly injured or worse. The fans should keep faith, it looks like it could be a decent season, if not totally succesful.
