A quick snap on the kick off let me get a mummy in a blitzing position of the abominable str5 blitzer (who owing to handicaps also had knuckledusters!). I got him down and after securing the ball set the dp to work - got a bh and thought that was the end of him - but surprisingly the apo was used and worked.

A slow drive downfield was nicely underway until the str5 guy dodged in and knocked the ball loose - this was scooped up from a tz - passed to the catcher and it was 1-0.

Immediately after this things started going wrong for the elves - they started dropping! - niggle and -ma in consecutive blocks on the los. Then during the 2nd half the str5 guy was ripped on a foul and following that so was the annoying nos catcher that had been plagueing me.

I managed an equaliser - but then the elves took the ball from the ko and withdrew too deep for me to get it in time to score.

A fun match that given a few % luck either side could have gone anyones way.

Gonna have to start winning rather than drawing if i am gonna be a serious contender though.
