“The crowd was ravenous today as they tore up anyone who was pushed into them. Coach Monty made no attempt to prevent the pushes of Lemo or Mr Gilly. My shouts of "yeah baby!" after these pushes were words of encouragement, since I assumed that he was dancing along the sidelines looking to trim his TR. I helped Monty achieve this goal, but my actions were misinterpreted as unsportsmanlike. ”

“My luck was execrable most of the way through this game. The Buckshot team, having bribed the ref, fouled whenever possible to great effect. The Greens' two wardancers were SIed early, and Lemo (ST4 lino) and Mr Gilly (AG5, 112SPP catcher) were crowdpushed for their niggle and death respectively, so the Greens apoth was left unused. I was down to 8 elves with the score 1-1 on defence and a long stall looking likely to deliver a loss.
However, a snake eyes by the Buckshot catcher on a catch left the ball free, Marto pounced and Roy duly saluted for the 2-1 lead. Now it still looked like a 2-2 draw, but a desperate three dodges and a one-die blitz by Watto caused the ball to spill. The Buckshot again needed only not to roll snake eyes to pick up the draw on turn 8... and you see the result.
A hardfought win, not helped by Manbush's rather unsportsmanlike glee at the Greens' injuries. I shall avoid LoA teams in future if that's all they're capable of.”
