“What a game! The Gypsies have been sitting idle for some time, while Coach Ryce has been trying to build the entire Ryce Franchise (tm). But when the brokers told Ryce that they could set up a game against the AVENGERS OF ULTHUAN, well... there was no way they could turn that match down.

Of course, maybe Ryce should've done some research. Outstepped the biggest elves the Gypsies had ever seen! Four of them looked like two elves standing next to each other, and the squad was led my Niel Captain, the most agile being to ever glide around a blood bowl pitch. Ryce told the doctor to juice McDamage up with some brute juice and off they trudged to kick off in the thick snow.

McDamage was quickly ko'ed as the elves bullied their way through the defensive line. Leadfist would knock-out an elf of his own, but little could stop the overly developed ones from prancing across the goal line. Then the ponces would blitz on the kickoff! Cougar scooped it up, wiped off the snow and tossed it to Jonez. Frontman's spine was broken by one of the huge elves as he tried to hold them back! Luckily the doctor was able to bring him back from the lands of the dead! The agile Captain worked his way in and stripped the ball from Jonez. Jawshatter would add another notch to his team-leading casuality list, as he crushed one of the elves hands under his boot. Leadfist would ko another elf and Jonez recovered the ball and tossed it to him. Leadfist, however, was tackled by an elf, as the half ground to a close... 0-1.

The second half started with another Cougar - Jonez connection. But then, the elves really started pushing the Boys from Dark Water around! Leadfist and St. Stone were knocked out and Grimble Gromble was surrounded by elves and torn to pieces! Unsettled, the Gypsies gathered themselves and pushed down the field. Jonez broke free and, due to Nuffle's favor scored after a lead elf came up lame on an attempted blitz. 1-1.

The Gypsies tried to hold off the elves from taking the lead, swarming around the two elves that broke though the defensive line. Still, Dayblue pushed his way through the humans. McDamage shadowed him all the way to just before the endzone... and then Captain made an easy pass in the closing seconds of the game to win it, 2-1.

Ryce has decided to relieve some of the pressure on Jonez and hired a young upstart, Dick Valentine, to help catch the ball. Perhaps the Gypsies can open up the offensive game! The fans are demanding some changes, that's for sure...
