I just wanna say thanks to the crowd for this win. Were it not for them badly hurting his agi4 CW, this game woulda gone the other way. Indeed, it probably should have gone the other way, as the first half was all chaos, all the time! He started the game with a single RR, and it wasn't til his turn 7 that he had to use it. Up until then he was rolling POW left and right to go with two ball steals to take a 2-0 lead. It took some miracle dodging by my blitzer Reggie-Bush style to sneak in a 2-1 halftime score.

Second half the chaos are driving, looking good...until he drops his pass downfield. Norsemen swarm in, chaos are unable to jar the ball loose, and I'm off for an easy score...if I wanna risk a gfi. I don't, he places his agi4 CW in a tz on me. Alas for him, he was entirely too close to the endzone, and a frenzy crowdpush BH later the norse did indeed score 2-2, only now manpower advantage was in my favor for the first time all game.

Chaos roll an untimely pow/skull blitz, norse recover the ball, and with some clever positioning of players the chaos find themselves pinned on the sideline while the ball is racing downfield! A failed dodge on his last potential blitz, and the game is ours. Two skills, cash for our fourth blitzer, +FF to recover that lost from last game, no lasting cas to either side (after the apo negated a first-turn -agi to a CW)...what an unlikely finish to a game which looked for all the world to be a chaos runaway! Just goes to show a game is 16 turns long, not just 8...
