“After all the hard training of the last week there was some confidence in the human camp - not too much just some. All confidence was misplaced.
The game started with a slightly nervous troupe kicking and the orcs just jumped the gun - the gained an extra step and started pushing around the Carnivalists. Redhammer screamed blitz at this guys and the blitzers rushed forward but Dirk just could not quite place the block at the end of his amazing run. End of the first turn a few orcs in their own back field were surrounded by the humans.
First to die was Ivan, right at the beginning of turn he was killed by Rocky (who had a killer day anyway) - some daylight end of turn 2 when the troupe knocked the ball out. Fabioletto was badly hurt early in turn 3 and Walter was killed later that turn, things were really looking bad at this point. Carlo died in the first block of turn 4 by Rocky too who then badly hurt Skjoern on his next action and Red Un' removed Dirk (who had been buzzing) from the game sending him to the hospital on the next turn.
For those of you counting 3 DEAD and 3 BH at the moment !
A last ditch desperate blitz attempt from Frederic failed after just could not dodge through what looked like 100s of greenskins and Rock Throwa' scored.
Somehow the troupe also jumped the gun and managed an amazing 1 turn touchdown to level the score at half time.
The second half was attempt by the troupe to stall play long enough to get a draw and overtime or just score with a long pass - the continuing inability of Ludger to play properly did hamper them. By turn 3 the Carnival felt the had to pass up field and did so as it did not look as though the would be able to hold off any longer - this proved just a bit too early as the orcs countered blitzing and knocking the ball out. Their last chance failed when Houdinov the Phantom failed to reach the endzone tripping on the last step and knocking himself out. Had he managed the last step a decent passing chance for Ignacio would have been there. Continuing trips and turnovers like this meant that by the end of turn 5 was deep in the human territory and the troupe outnumbered 8 to 11. In turn 7 Jawbreaka' then hurt Ludger and it was even more all over now - amazingly the apothecary had finally arrived and saved the big oaf.
Headhunta' ran in the winning TD at the final whistle and the troupe was left carrying the dead out of the park.



Really well played by Cyco, nice game - a couple of unlucky rolls but some errors on part of Redhammer - Cyco did not have turnover.”
