“A good, classic, elf vs. bash game.

As expected Twinkledew caused some damage but the elfs were quickly short on players and the first half went by the book, me scoring in turn 8 and opponent not being able to do the push-oneturner. (hard when outnumbered and st4/5 on the line). Looking at the game stats i can see i only threw two fouls in the game - not a good sign as i should be able to get more in with me severely outnumbering the opponent.

Second half, opponent recieves, prances about with the ball (which HAD to be in the hands of the NOS dump off player, obviously). One time i had the dice for blitzing him but he came through and dumped off to.... Twinkledew again.

Basicall he stalled the half out and i decided to hit some players while i was waiting to get to try my own push oneturner, getting ready for the possible overtime. A foul took out his ma7, ag5 lino, and apo helped, But when you have a dumpoff, NOS player with the ball and other NOS players nearby you don't need that much of a cage.

He scored in turn 8 after a crucial blunder from me thatcould have cost me dearly (leaving jeremiah on the sideline to be secondary pushed out while opening myself for the blitz was bad bad bad). My opponent made his 3+ pass 3+ catch without problems and without reroll even if my pass blocker was correct positioned to interfere with the throw.

My push oneturner took me forever to set up (i was getting tired, heh). Not that hard actually when you have a move 9 ag4 catcher. But the bottom line was that the quick snap i got was crucial as mighty zug would rather hit the elf to pieces than push it around. I recovered, Giraffen picked up the ball, passed it to Deferr the team destroyer who ran it in with the 2 gfi needed.

Thanks for the game Ludovicious, could have gone either way but i think i had that final luck in the dice and coffee in the mug etc etc etc.. ball is round and anything can happen...blablabla. :)
