Wow. Elves. Orcs. What more needs to be said? What a classic Bloodbowl struggle.

The Elves received, and scored a 3 turn TD. The Orcs then rcvd, and the Elves immediately squirmed thru the LOS and pressured the ball, which led to a long seesaw struggle around a ragged orc cage and eventually a loose ball at midfield, that saw several short-lived changes of possession, and the elves settling for a completed pass on turn 8, having to pull their potential scorer back in just to gain the ball.

2nd Half saw something similar, but more directional for the Orcs, as 3 Elves left the pitch, 2 BH, leading to a Turn 6 uncontested score (which, in perfect hindsight, maybe should have been a stall for the tie.) The elves by then had no RR's, and only 9 men to the Orc's 11, and so were forced to make a last play 2 turn TD for the win, which they did without any trouble (unlike most every other play.)

Lessons learned? Orcs can HURT! And elves are squirrely and can do practically anything. Not that either one always does, but they both certainly CAN.
