#7 Hans Daniels – Dead (RIP)
#10 Cedrik Quinton – Dead (RIP)
#13 Simon De Montfort – Dead (RIP)
What can I say? That was one crazy game. I thought I had that game in the bag at 2-1, and after all four injury rolls being deaths (and only having one apothecay) I thought I deserved the win. However, in the last turn of the game a goblin managed to pick up the ball, and as he couldn't run to the endzone in that turn, he kindly asked an ogre to give him a boost by throwing him into the endzone. The throw was successful, sending the only remaining gobba on the pitch into the endzone, but could he land land safely to equalise the game? Of course he could, making the final score 2-2. It was probably a fair result for both teams, although I'm still confused as to how all four injuries my Humans suffered were deaths. If my team hadn't lost three players and they still had an apothecary, my players probably would have managed to stop those pesky Ogres, instead of being scared and backing away from the challenge at the end of the second half. All in all it was a really fun game, and the man (or manbeast) of the match award I think deserves to goto Setaccio who really put the blood into Blood Bowl.
