“Not many 0 - 0 ties in my career, so when I say this game was unique I mean it. Turn 3 disconnect started the game off a lil shaky and a 4th turn double skull followed by a block skull gave way to me being a lil crabby. But after that smooth sailing evenly matched and looking for a hole to exploit. Thought I found it a couple times in the game but was ousted at end zone in turn 7 of first half and turn 8 of second half. And as always sneaky elves have great potential to get that last minute pass td, but luckily it was held to a tie. Good game through and through. I look forward to a rematch, which will certainly happen in the BBL.”

“What a game, WHAT a game!!!
Altho' Vatican was playing a forfeit match due to league violations, both teams came out swinging, and fought tooth and nail for two full halves, both threatening to score at different times, but all for a 0-0 tie, and only a Niggle/Miss for one team and a Death on the other to show for it!
Vatican received, and the All Darks had their hands full trying to break the cage, largely only managing to stall it until the last of the first half, when either side could see scoring chances with a loose ball, but mutually tough D (and fear of the rain!) prevented any scores.
Second half, Vatican, a man up, Bltized, knocking down or stunning all but the 3 deep men for the All Darks and pouring into the Dark Elves' backfield, and it was "Nelly bar the door!" for 4 turns as the Dark Elves shucked and jived with the best of them, until a chance to punt half way into the Amazon's half of the field.
A race and new scramble for the ball ensued, with more give and take with the Vatican 'zons finally almost breaking free, but against the odds they failed the last, critical Blitz with the ball for the score. If that's what Coach Glamdryn brings to a forfeit match, I'd hate to see what he's like when he's fighting for something other than bragging rights!”
