“I hope my opponents thus far this season aren't the accountants for the SWL because neither of them can count.
This round it seems my opponent got to play 18 turns while the bucket boys got a lousy 16.
The blight opened the game with a fairly stock touchdown after we decided to apply pressure rather than blitz at the ball. The second kick saw a blitz combined with a kick which landed on the LOS the resulting turns saw a nice scatter for the blight and the varners once again on the back foot. We did manage to stop them and it was 1-0 for the blight going into the half.
Coming out for the second half and receiving we started to think whether a draw and some points on the board was the way to go or whether to push for the win. Luckily for the blight they had smelling salts which kept their numbers somewhat high. However we waltzed down field for a 5 turn score in which we took out quite a few players.
We tried hard we really did, however a turn 16 snake eyes just cant really be avoided. 1-1 draw
3pts - Nikoliev 'Shloss!' Sazzeyev, Well he got Tim but we made sure he wont be playing next week.
2pts - Oldbugmanof Perfectoss, a true star and total hero who some say is too good to be playing this game with mortals.
1pt - Busar Littlenoff Pegoski, his +str played a vital roll in poping out the ball late in the first half which almost payed off with a 2nd TD.

2nd half and OB's dirty players and blocking went into overdrive. Boy did it hurt. We may have got Tim Toughboy as some kind of consolation, but our players got hammered in return. OB managed to walk over the line when we tried to foul Big bad Bill, 1-1.
By this stage we had 9 players and were thinking of going for the draw, but we didn't and tried to get to a pass for a score. But a miscount on my part allowed the pass blocker to get in the way. Pity, it didn't matter as the ball was intercepted by Colin Sanders. grrrr. The game is OBs.....
...except that nuffle had other plans. We managed to get some players on Colin and at least force some rolls. And a failed RR GFI gave us the draw. Still, was majorly painful and yet another Nuffle sent -FF and no cash just made things impossibly worse.
