“We barely pulled this match out.
The first half was a battle. Ramtut III was no slouch in the CAS department. The two fouls that got caught both got argued. Even so, I managed to get the ball away from him with some very lucky elf-like-dodging super-lucky-one-die-powing.
Turn 8 replay: After the dog pile, no RRs, nothing in our braziers, Zoli (a near death the turn before) 1d blitzes a ghoul away. This frees up the ball. Jessika dodges out picks up the ball in the rain, makes a comp to Alexsandria who scores!
I receive in the 2nd half. All my KOs came back, only to flee the scene under the MB onslaught. Left with 6 zons on the pitch and no good place to hide, we work some girls about 2/3 downfield only to fail a dodge, get KO'd and have the ball bounce somewhere very unlucky. WW gets it. After some elf-inspiring dodging (read: into 2 TZs) I manage to knock over the WW. Tymless eventually gets it back with a WW. Instead of scoring, he tries a pass in the rain with no RRs. WWs get blitzed into the ball, which was in my EZ btw, the bounce lands it in front of a blitzer. Instead of making for the TD with the blitzer, a WW fails a dodge and the game ends.
