“Well this game was a really hard-nosed affair. Both teams were battling it out on an ice-frozen pitch for the whole game.

Numerically the two teams were close at the start, but the suerior AV of the Orcs started to show as the game progressed and each turn there were fewer thralls left on the pitch. In saying that the 2 Vampires were very dangerous and they kept the result in the balance until 2/3rds of the way through the game when the second Orc TD was scored from a counter-attack.

In essence a rock BH'd an Orc lineman at kick-off and the Orc coach drunkenly used his apothacary. Later he would regret that as the same lino was killed!!!!

The Vampires received first and BH'd the Troll with an early foul. This combined with some good early positioning made it look like the Orcs were going to concede a TD. A 1 Die Blitz managed to get the ball free, and the rest of the half became a too and fro type of half. The Orcs finally scoring in the last turn. 1-0 to the Machine.

In the second half the Orcs received and despite a Blitz to the Vampires, they recovered well and exploited the gaps the Vampires had left due to the Blitz drawing them to 1 flank. With few players left the two Vampires managed to really threaten an equaliser, but outnumbered they lost the ball and the break-away decisive TD was scored. 2-0 to the Machine.

The game was then played out with little more to note.”
