“'Game Four' and the team march on.
Taking to the field for the first time without 'Diamond' Joe Quimby was always going to be tough. But the boys had the consolation of introducing their new blitzer Groundskeeper William "Willie" K. MacMorhan (a.k.a. G. K. Willington, Esq.). Playing against an experience coach in 'Unhold' and his skaven 'BTM (bigger than mice)' team, the 'Duffers' were surely only looking to gain experience and learn from their opposition.
Although the game looked competetive with the first half ending 1-1 it soon changed in the second. 'BTM' just picked apart the strategy of the 'Duffers' with consumate ease, managing to run in three TD's to close the game out with some classy plays on offence and some high pressure blitzing on defense.
Coach 'Hotspurstu' said after the game,"Obviously any defeat of that magnitude is going to be something of a disapointment for myself and the boys. However, we must all remember, that the game is about the fans as much as the players and they surely could not have been treated to a better and more exiting exhibition of Blood Bowl... Even if it was by our opposition most of the time. Although we lost, we got to play a team of real class, with a coach to match and will remember the day for some time to come, as i'm sure the fans will too."”
