“An awesome game on both sides. The beginning of the game was a great one for the rats - they took the opening kickoff the distance in 2 turns...then created an earlier turnover and were up 2-0 by turn 4. After that, their luck changed, the orcs drove the length of the field and got lucky to break free and score as time expired in the first half. Down 2-1 entering the second half, the orcs took the ball and started to try, only to get bogged down by the swarming rats...after several 1d blitzs, the ball was sprung free and a gutter runner picked up the ball - 1 turn away from making it 3-1...some gfi to spur a long blitz KOed the gutter runner...then the orcs managed to get the pickup and a pass to a blitzer who with some gfi managed to get it into the endzone to tie the game going into OT. The OT period was one of mutual bashing and falling down. No rerolls and few skills ended up in a big melee by the sidelines - several crowd pushes on both sides (killing a black orc blocker), finally sprang free the orcs...but they was not enough time and the game went to a coin flip.

Overall a great game, I appreciated Nico's sportsmanship and quality of play. It was a tough and exciting game. Many thanks!”
