“The KO rolls made this one fairly lopsided in the Skinks favor.
Through a bit of luck we scored on Black Hand's kickoff towards the end of the 1st half and at next kickoff it was 9 vs. 9. A couple turns left, a couple more KOs...
2nd half begins with 10 Skinks vs 7 or 8 Black Hands, and that number went down over time. The Skinks took to stalling and even put the boot in once to help whittle down numbers. We ended up scoring in turn 7. Subsequently, the Black Hands failed 4 more KO rolls... ouch!
Thankfully the apoth worked this game on another saurus RIP... getting tired of those. :/
Johnny_Ryce played great, but he was consistently short of bodies. Hopefully his new skills will be effective in clearing the pitch of the opposition!

First half looked promising, but he managed to stop my TD. Second half was certainly his (which seems to be the Norse modus operandi if I spelled that right).
Let the record note that the Norse failed 10 of 11 KO recovery rolls, was the victim of 2 perfect defenses and one blitz.
Of course, I had a blitz myself, got four skills, no injuries and enough money to buy an ogre. The norse are fearful of Odin's wrath at the end of this season (i.e. we'll have to gut this team again to make weight), so they are now ready to be even MORE merciless. Well, to start being merciless. We've picked up a dirty player and a mighty blow! Perhaps the Pillage can begin now???
