“The Miserable Miners were so excited about the chance to play C.A.P.'s Norsemen that they apparently left their armor at home. A runner got nailed by a rock during the opening kickoff and was knocked out for much of the match.

The Miners would continue this trend as more and more players flew to the bench as the turns went by. The valiant dwarfs that remained on the pitch were sorely outnumbered but they fought back with the true dwarven spirit - they ganged up on the mino and fouled him once he was helpless on the pitch! Sadly, the mino was only stunned and the Miners never got an opportunity to kick him again.

It is suspected that one of the longbeards tapped a keg while hanging out on the sideline, contributing to the dwarves prolonged stay in the KO box. Unfortunately, the apothecary was also seen on the sideline and was too imbibed to help poor Narad when the norse broke his back. Due to the possibly recurring nature of his injury, Narad will now join the coaching staff.
