#4 Pindo Sloppymuncher – Dead (RIP)
#11 Bopdab Fullsleep – Dead (RIP)
Congrats to Cloggy on his 2nd XFL title!

If I could go back and change one thing about my play in this match, I would be the TTM attempt at the end of the 1st half. With Carpe having a 'fling in scoring range, I should have just run to relative safety and hoped to get a stop in the 2nd half. Play was superlow percentage to begin with... just silly impatient on my part.

Also, Pindo finally met his (waffle) maker in this match thanks to a failed apo. He prolly would have been fouled off had the apo worked, but being fouled to death would have been a more fitting ending for our team captain.

Also, also: on that note, Cloggy didn't foul a single time... what's up with that! Fans must have been seething. :D

Now I can put these little guys back on the shelf for another year. \o/

Thanks to Pizzamogul for the great game and the congratulations.

We started well by taking out the St3/Block fling Pindo early in the second half. The Hairclub didn't really make a push forward to make a field TD and had to try for a TTM of accept a 0-0 score at HT. The attempt failed and we scored 1-0. Not fielding my dp in the first half worked like a charm, since Pizza only fouled once.

Second half started with a deep kick that we picked up securely at the cost of a reroll. Both the Hairclub's trees took root in the first 2 turns, so we seemed reasonably secure, especially when 3 fouls in a row on our tree produced only stuns.

Near the end things got difficult. OUr players started getting knocked down a lot resulting in some CAS and loads of stuns, leaving me effectively outnumbered. I had a good chance to decide the match in my turn 16, but rolled 4 POW/skulls on a blitz with my ballcarrier, and the ball came loose to give Pizza a final shot at reaching overtime. The final big effort failed and our boys took home the Cup to a banquet of epical proportions.

On the fouling: I decided not to foul this match because I felt that a low fouling match would increase the chances of getting me a win through the 3 blodge flings. had the ref not been as blind as a bat that would have worked quite well :)
