“ In the Hobbitz' first game they lived up to their name, and played like Halflings.

Receiving the ball at the start the Hobbitz were eager to start their illustrious career. Unfortunately the Slayers blitzed them and caught them off guard.

No problem thought the Hobbitz, and continued playing with confidence. Untill turn two, in which the Black Hobbit Blocker, Barry Boffin was brutally killed on a block. This was a blow to the morale of the team, and Fosco Brownlock, being the sensitive fellow that he is, was seeing crying during the rest of the game. Barry did get MVP of the game, as standing around and dying was a crucial move for the Hobbitz.

The Hobbitz offense could get nothing started in their drive. Untill blitzer Marcho Gamwich was left open and ran down the feild to recieve the ball. That was if he actually knew that the ball was coming to him, he was just running away so he wouldnt get hit, and thus dropped the ball which prevented a TD. He was given an easy second chance but dropped the ball again, which eventually led to a Slayers TD.

Things didnt get better in the next kickoff, as some Slayers fans thought it would be fun to pick on some hobbits and invaded the pitch and KO'ed 3 Hobbitz, BH another(a black hobbit), and stunned yet another. Leaving 6 on the feild.

Luckily it was the end of the half, unluckily none of the KO'ed woke up.

The Slayers easily scored in their drive, injuring Marroc Goodbody in the process.

All but one of the KO'ed woke up for the 2nd Hobbitz drive, giving them 7 players on the feild. The Hobbitz finally started to click, as they broke through with 7 men and allowed blitzer Mamadus Willow to score.

It was too little, too late as the game was over shortly after the TD. Slayers smearing the Hobbitz into the ground winning 2-1.

After the game a reporter caught up with Marmadus and got the following comment: "Dis game iz hard.... all dose scary dorfz keeped hitting uz, we iz fragul, we brooz alot. So dun hit uz, cuz We iz Hobbitz!"
