“A brutal game indeed! The dwarves were experts at mighty blow - well over half the players on the pitch had MB on the pitch...the losers in that of course were the few goblins that were running around. However, when the dwarves also got the ref to start the game, their dirty player did most of the damage - inflicting 3 CAS with fouls.
Ultimately, however, it was the ogres that ruled this day - passing bone headed rolls prolly more often than average and only losing 1 blitz due to snake eyes on a bone head roll. First half, the dwarves received, but with break tackle, the ogres managed to sneak away from the dwarves and nailed the ball carrier...after a fight for the ball, Anika came away with it and her break tackle helped her escape to score the first TD. In the second half, again it was break tackle for the win as Anika carried the ball the length of the pitch to seal the victory. At the end we only had 5 players left, but the goblins absorbed enough blows and ran interference just long enough to allow us the victory.
Thanks and well played mate!”
