“Only 95000 fans showed up for the second game between Sweetorcs and Pathetis Athletic in spite of nice weather and both Ripper (Sweetorcs) and Fungus (Ahtletic) playing. No player one niggled out

First turn most things go the Ahtletics way. Fungus does not collapse and even knocks one player down, Manjar is hurt (mng) and Ripper leaves the field for good too. So much for the 70000 spent on him. At least he protected some of our other players from the foul. Then luck changes for us. Truffle rolls a six with stand firm to let Polly blitz Shuo Chivilis and get the ball. Then Fungus rolls double skulls. Highway to a TD. Athletic does not manage to tie it before half-time.

Second half, and all is well, a Black Orc got the ball on the kick and moves his 4 steps forward. Then Fungus brings down 3 of my players in one turn. I really want the Black Orc to (skill), and try a desperate dodge which works. Meanwhile, our thrower Raspberry gets killed :(. Athletic try to make it 2-1 but it seems their player are more interested in blocking, than running forward.

Good game. Even, more even than the 2-0 suggests. Hadn’t it been for Polly getting the ball first half probably would have gone to Ahtletic since we had only 9 players from 2nd turn and onwards. My first game ever with Fungus – he was cool, and not completely worthless.
