Meen Green Hugging Machine 2 – 3 Dancing Queens

An excellent game full of action and definitely one that saw fortunes swing three times over its course.

The Woodies received and drove up field in their customary style flooding the end zone with receivers awaiting the pass, the Orcs managed to delay the score till the third turn but it had been inevitable with so much Blodge, Sidestep and high Agility.

The machine then had a chance at receiving, but things went horribly wrong and the ball was not retrieved, leaving the Queens with the opportunity to race down field and add a second TD. Woodies at 2-0 up was almost game over, and the Amazons in the crowd promptly left showing how fickle and overpaid they are that they would not stay and get their money’s worth.

The Orcs managed to pull one back right on the stroke of half time by using two clever cross field runs to drag the elven defenders out of place, and the super-fast Smelly Sausage was the architect and scorer.

2-1 to the Queens at half time.

In the second half the Orcs received and started to cage up and dish out some KO’s to the weakling opponents, the Orc strategy being to stall their way up field and deny the Woodies the opportunity to score a winner. The stalling drive working very well and they scored with their last action through the thrower Accurate Arry.

A great comeback for the slow moving Orcs and the score was now 2-2.

Unfortunately for them the Queens were about to retake the initiative. Whilst Da Machine had stalled its way to the equaliser, the Head Coach of the Queens had told his personal fluffer (Mark the Rent Boy) to break off work and leave him till the showers, and he started to concentrate on a way to defeat the Orc menace.

His devious mind came up with a bizarre OTS plan, and the Queens executed it perfectly thanks to the naivety of Da Machine coach in thinking a score was not possible. A bit of sneaky chain-pushing got an Elf Catcher into position to make a run for glory that took the Queens through to the Quarter –Finals.

Coach Russo was delighted at his team’s recovery and took personal blame for the lapse in concentration that cost the team the chance of a win in overtime.

Meanwhile, Coach Cribble was seen going into the showers with Mark!!!
