“Whilst my opponent played very well, this game was a dice screw job and his victory was certainly helped by his taking full advantage of the uneven rolls.

After the scores were tied at 1-1 at half time, the second half started with my opponent injuring or KOing 3 players in his first two turns. My blocks continued to be Pushes or Skull/Pows whilst my opponent continued to KO player after player as he ground out a Dwarf like 8 turn TD.

I had several Blitzes on his ball carrier, about 4 one dicers, and 2 two dicers, but none came up Pow or Skull/Pow (his carrier had Dodge but no Block).

Nothing I did worked as my players continued to get pounded over and over and finally a niggling to one of my best players. The only luck I had in the second half was a turn 8 block that casued a death on a lineman.

Certainly one of the most unfun games I have played, not helped by my opponent playing a second game at the same time during the first half (and possibly another game on top of that as well when his first game finished, but I am not sure). Certainly almost 2.5 hours of rolling 1s, 2s, Skulls and Pushes, whilst my opponent kept getting Pows was a long sad farce.

No I don't think I will play this guy again. He had the numbers, players and RRs to win the game 3-2 or 4-2 but chose to stall so I couldn't even get an extra completion or two to make the game a bit more fun. If he had Orcs or Dwarves that couldn't outscore me fair enough, but an 8 turn stall with Elves is not something that I would do. With my Chaos Dwarves vs Elves, oh yeah hehe, just not Elves vs Elves.

A deserved win for my opponent who made the most of his luck. Congrats and enjoy.”
