“A start of a new season, Philly was faced with one of their hated divison foes: Dallas! The first half saw Dallas cage around the ball and go the length of the field...until some pixies managed to distract the undead and another pixie flashed in and smashed the ball carrier into the crowd. Picking up the ball, Moats went all the way the other direction for a T8 TD.
In the second half, early take roots doomed us to be short handed against the undead and after a blitz got to our ball carrier the turn before he could have scored, our next turn, the first action was a failed dodge...and Dallas was in control. Another chance to nail the ball carrier disappeared with another failed dodge.
However, thought of as weak and frail, our team surivived - the only perm injury prevented by the quick work of the trainer. With enough winning to hire some more players, we should have depth for our upcoming game.
A fun game that turned out better than expected, if not quite as good as we hoped !”

Strangely enough, the Cowboys lost a Mummy pernmanently, whereas the Fairies advance to the next round without injury. Also, the Fairies scored a turnover touchdown yet, failed to score with their own football.
Overall, a surprising game with both teams taking something positive away.
