A very rough game for hark. He came in with 10 able bodies hoping for a scorefest and some cash to prepare for the Whiskey playoffs. It was not to be.
New rat ogre Big Snarly Jr killed a lino with his very first block and another kill shortly thereafter really crippled the Whiners. With few opposing defenders the Spawn scored easily in the first half a stalled a turn or two (finding it impossible to really contain the St4 Ag5 Blodging monster, Gorge Jo'nez).
On defense the rats pinned 2 DE blizters along the sideline with enough bodies to surf both (even the sidestepper) but some double 1s and double skulls completely foiled those plans... allowing the blitzers to escape unscathed and the DEs a late score.
In the second half with heavy man advantage the rats played high pressure D and eventually Jo'nez failed a dodge allowing an easy rat TD. Hark made an excellent push to score back before the final buzzer but needed just a bit more luck than the cruel Nuffle would allow.
A terrible game for the Whiners before possible post season action. Best of luck to hark trying to recover from the losses. We ll meet again.”
