A screwjob in the makings that was saved in the second half with some intense cage busting pressure.

The first half saw the Guardians steal the ball in defence and attempt to set up a TD only to have the ball snatched out of the air with an unlikely intercept (8+ or 6 hehe). The Ballet Company looked gone for all money until this lucky break which allowed them to score first instead of being behind (I was moaning big time as I had used two Rerolls to steal the ball in my first two turns only to have the ball intercepted anyway hehe).

The Guardians then had an easy TD setup, but made an error and made it much more difficult for themselves, but they managed to score anyway. The Company scored again in return and then the Guardians foiled themselves from scoring a quick reply to even the scores at half time.

The Guardians started in offence and scored quickly, then broke the Ballet Company's cage with one player slipping into the cage (AG5 Dodge, Guard) and then their Wardancer Kelthanus Thundercall jumping into the cage from the other side to steal the ball and set up what turned out to be the match winning TD.

There was plenty of game time left though, and both sides struggled to control the ball near the line of scrimmage with the Guardians finally winning the ball and in a position to set up a 4th TD. However, Elloric Goldenleaf then killed himself on a block and the apothecary failed (what a b1tch!!!) and then another blocking error caused the Guardians ball carrier to turn around to hear what that loud crashing was and time ran out before he could cross the line for a score.

Man that game was quite unenjoyable in the first half, with my rerolls disappearing so quick and the possession I earnt being lost through a lucky intercept.

Then the one dice skull that lead to a death and the apoth failed. I cheered up a lot though when I realised he was a niggler as I needed to sack a couple anyway.

Failing to score on turn 8 was ok too as the guy was on 74 SPP and already had 2 niggles and I fail about 50% of those 7+ rolls ;P”
