“The last time these 2 teams meet the Skinks gave the Woodies a bloodbowling lesson. With the SS not quite at their peak it was a great chance for the Men of Wood to even things up a bit.
The game started at a breakneck pace. The Woodies and the Skinks trading a couple of early TDs. Dangerous Digital Dave crossed the line twice on debut while Crowlockylockville and Mr Murray played passies between each other.
On the other side of things Xies-ler-aym was spreading his legs and showing his class. 77 paces rushed must be close to some sort of record. However the little champion did not get much support from his teammates and the pressure got to him. Xies made a couple of unchareteristic errors that gave the Woodies a lead they never looked like surrendering.
