well, actually, both sides had a lot of luck. my opponent managed every block in the game, except one double skull. and all but two of these blocks were pows.
on the other hand, i crippled many of his players, so he had nearly nothing to field for second half.
it was his offense, kickoff gave me a blitz and i got the ball. he managed to retake the ball but after two turns, i had a blitz and two blocks against the ballcarrier ... all of which had a pushback as a result. nonetheless, he was surrounded by five of my players, all the remaining players of him were covered.
nonetheless, he threw a pass and succeeded to get the ball to a place, where none of my guys could reach it. i tried to free my bull centaurs with some blocks, but all four blocks were pushbacks and didn't helped me a bit. so i had to run out of a tackle zone with a hobbo and failed ... twice ;)
he picked up the ball, i managed to bring a hobbo to his hobbo, he threw a 1 dice blitz, succeeded and scored to the 2-1. three turns left for me to score.
pitch invasion, 5 of my guys stunned, one of his ... despite this result, i just had to make a handoff to a bullcentaur in turn seven and would've reached at least a draw. of course, i failed. in his eight turn, my opponent blocked one of my guys out of bounce (and the pour hobbo was beaten to death. no stats for my opponent so i don't know, why he did so, but ok)
i tried to pick up the ball, failed, end of game ...
so this game left me with: one guy killed, no skills and a loss ... hooray to nuffle!”
