It was always going to be tough with 4 of the best handicaps up against a team with more +Str and +AG but the dice made sure the game was an absolute mockery.
Started with an early failed 3+ dodge with RR and BH of my second best catcher. Continued with my fouls doing one BH and his doing a BH and a niggle on my Ogre and me failing my apothecary roll as well before that.
I get a chance to set up a score in the first half only to fail the GFI with snake-eyes and KOing the player. I fail 4 from my first 5 KO rolls to leave me with 7 players to start the second half after also failing more sunstroke checks than my opponent who had more players making the rolls!
A farce of a game that was a total joke. Of course, the dead lino got the MVP too, but surprisingly, I rolled a 2 for winnings when it really should have been a 1 as well :P”

As the Amazons kicked off, the Fans invaded the Pitch, Stunning 4 or my players and 2 of theirs... The Empire regrouped and were able to get down the field protecting the ball and scored on turn 5 to go up 1-0... After the touchdown, Ogre of Averland was affected by the heat... As the Empire kicked off, the Amazons got the Ref... Knowing they were going to get fouled alot, Coach MightyQuinn made sure they did as much fouling right back... Looking back in the Empire's History, this is the 1st game they ever fouled and did a good job... Half ended 1-0 Empire...
As the Empire kicked off, the Amazons quick snapped... The Empire who now outnumbered the Amazons quickly swooped in and got the ball and scored on turn 3 to go up 2-0... As the Empire kicked off and the Ogre missing the drive to heat exhaustion again, the Ref called for Injury Time... The Amazons definetly not willing to give up, quickly scored on turn 6 to close the score to 2-1... As the Amazons kicked off, the kick was bad... The Empire was able to get the ball and protect it while outnumbering the Amazons... Outrider of Averland realizing he was in range for another td, called for the ball and scored on turn 8 to go up 3-1 which is how the game ended...
Nuffle was definetly with the Empire today...
