“Quite an interesting match:

I won the coin toss and decided to kick this time, the reason being that I'd do the old 2-1 grind. My opponent didn't secure the ball and had a string of skulls, so that I was able to snatch the ball from him and move deep into his zone. Unfortunately I was a bit too reckless, got a double 1 and catapulted my star catcher (essentially a wardancer) into the KO box.
In round 5 I made another mistake by not screening the lower part of the pitch, which allowed his thrower to pass the ball to one of his catchers out of reach deep in my own half of the pitch.

My dirty player got sent off, but at least he KOed the ogre, who missed most of the second half.
Surturiel scored in round 8 and a perfect defense voided my chance for a one turn touchdown. Strange enough he merely set up 10 people, which should be impossible. I suspect that since "I am the greatest" was in play, Ski disabled the 11 player on the pitch check to avoid a more difficult check when that handicap is around.

Fortunately things turned around in the second half, I was able to score early and then another string of skulls opened the possibilty to take the ball from Surturiel once more. I successfully tied up his players and managed to skill up my blitzer for the 2-1. In round 7 surturiel could have pressured me as the first hand off attempt to the blitzer failed and the ball landed in a corner of my cage. However, Surturiel misclicked and instead of taking a pow, his blitz yielded a skull :)

Since he was out of rerolls, his attempt of a one turn touchdown (got a useless blitz on that kick) was prevented by an early pow on the blitz.
