“First half the Warlords lined up on defence expecting a beating from the skilled mummies fronting Ash Bane. They were worried over nothing and one of the "sacrificial" black orcs only left the pitch on the final turn of the game (and even then only KOed). After all the jeering and mocking from the fans though, Evil Ash decided to set things straight, killing Buzz but fortunately he regenerated!

The first half drive of the Bane was haulted when Gruul got a shot at the ball carrier. As usual he seemed to get a bit carried away with his blitzing and killed the unfortunate Fleshraker. With the ball recovered the Warlords marched down the pitch in a typical cage drive to score in the last turn of the half.

Second half was much of the same, with Ash Bane failing to take out any orcs and suffering from reduced numbers after the first half. The Warlords caged it up and drove in for a late score. This left a couple of turns where the mummies tried and came close to taking their revenge on the Warlords!

Good game against a good coach. Look forward to a rematch soon, hopefully in a later round of the OCCS! :)”
