“The Magpies were up for this game … After losing out in the last two they had a point to prove.
They failed miserably … the rats trounced them 4-1.
Highlights of the game however was James Milner’s long pass the Nobby Solano who then pushed himself a few yards further than seemed possible and claimed our only touch down.
After the game coach Bobby von Robson said Milner was ‘a lucky sod’ and claimed he must have elf blood in him to make a pass like that.
When asked why the team in three games had not caused a single casualty Robson replied ‘Why don’t you **** ***** off’
On a lighter note the Magpies announced the signing of Mancarver Utd’s vicious young vampire Alan Smith for a fee thought to be about 110,000 gold crowns. Magpies’ fans hope that this added agility and strength will help the team to its first win next game.

The vampires failed to do much with blocking - lots of pushes and only once did they KO a rat and never inflicted a CAS. This gave a huge numbers advantage to the rats - especially with Zach going on a rampage with 3 second half CAS. An awesome play when heavily outnumbered resulted in a score for the vampires...however, the game was never in doubt as the rats swarmed the under-manned vampires for their 2nd victory in the tournament!”
