“My fifth match and fifth loss against Kalamona, who has an amazing ability to save his luck for the really crucial rolls. He sure did pull off a classic Pyrrhical victory in this one though, scoring 2 lucky TD's but look at the casualties...

It started as a very family friendly match with the Adept withstanding 3 rsc blocks without as much as a KO while at the same time stabbing my squig rider three times without result. Just when Disney was about to sign the movie rights for this unbloody spectacle things turned around though. The loss of The priest left the skinks without power in the bashing game and the Endless Hunger started to tear them apart.

Nothing could be done to prevent the loss and Kalamona was closer to 3-0 then I was of reducing the score, but I got the recovery match I needed and with only a skilless goblin killed my team is in shape for a proper next match.

Most importantly, I got a +FF after having lost a lot of fans lately. This gives the team a glimmer of hope of avoiding retirement.
