“Judging by the high body count and low score, you'd think both sides were neglecting the ball and just going for the jugular, but you'd be wrong. It was just one of those games where if you were knocked over, you were hurt. First half saw a slow and steady necro march causing 3 cas and 4 ko's, then our OTS attempt failed at the goal line.
Second half we came out firing, but his non-tackle players were rolling POW on my gutters left and right, eventually stealing the ball and caging up. This is when both sides went into hyper-attack mode, trying to remove players as fast as possible. (The crowd "helped" also, killing my mv10 gutter.) Eventually we knocked the ball loose and were even in position to score...until he yet again rolls clean POW, ko, nobody left in range to score, he wins.
Two final cas to come in the final turn...I couldn't leave his wolfie next to my SV w/o an apo nearby, so a non-DP foul (but with claws) causes a niggled pup. His counter foul niggles a 3-skill lino in his own T-16.
Final tally: a loss (no biggie, Dread's a good player) and losing 3 skilled and/or valuable players (210k worth) to his win but losing two VERY valuable players (190k worth). Ugly. Good match, down to the wire, but UGLY.”

But my god, this was a game to get the juices pumping. Bodies flew left and right, zombies, wolves, and everything tried to hurt skaven, while skaven tried to hurt Necro's. The ball was continually exchanged in the 2nd half, with a massive scrum in the middle, leading to even more bodies heaped onto a pile. 2 consecutive niggle turn 15/16 cas finished off this game for us both. It was awesome, and I will demand a rematch... Once I gained 120k again to replace my puppy....
Then again, I gained a zombie and lost a ghoul and a good pup, while he lost more. Still, I think we can both say this was one hell of a match.”
