“A fun match where the Skoundrelz got a fantastic start. Kub took down a treeman and put a SI on a pixie in turn 1 by a surely thrown bomb and Kutz nearly RIP'ed the down treeman on a gang foul. But fortunately for Mirascael the apo worked.

The Skoundrelz tried to take a safe distance from the treemen, but Niggla collected his second niggle when he got caught up with one.

The Skoundrelz had a good fouling game and Nasty managed to foul out the opponents dp early in the match, putting a pinched nerve on the evil pixie. The fairies had a tough time and suffered a lot of casualties, so Grim could score a rather easy TD in the last turn.

Ashenvale Wisps had 1 turn to take out revenge and did so when one of the treemen smashed Krudd's knee. The ref only caught Kub though, so the cheaters could muster a nice line-up for defense in the 2nd half. Despite getting all their KO's back the Wisps could only field 9 men.

A bad pass looked to give the Skoundrelz ball possession, but when Nasty made a bad dodge and sprained his groin the Wisps got a great chance for a TD. The lightning fast pixie Hurry snatched up the ball and sprinted across the end zone line, but to the dismay of the coach and the fans she tripped and fell down, stunned by her bad luck. The Skoundrelz moved in to block her off and Gyro could pick up the ball. At the same time Wild'Un showed signs of his blocking skills when he scored a fatality. The brownie Brown was the victim. The Skoundrelz fans roared in delight over this turn of events.

Despite the fanatic Dunga badly injuring himself with his own weapon the Skoundrelz could mount a push for 2 - 0 and since the Wisps had few remaining players they couldn't do much to stop it.

The victory cost a bit since all three injuries suffered were serious, but I'm still very pleased with this win. It was very close to a tie with Hurry failing her TD attempt, but if not for that unlucky incident the match was quite fair.
