“Well, this was going to be a tough one.

With two norse missing this game due to injuries along with another player dead from the Nufflucked chaos dwarves, the Icy Black hand of Death knew this would be more a game of survival than superiority.

The eight norse took to the field against 10 dark elves (Odin had forced one of their old injuries to act up). And fight the norse did. But the dark elves were quick and usually open. The first half would end 0-2. Magnus grew frustrated at the team's lackluster attitude and took his anger out on the poor Snakes, crushing two of them. Vice pounded one himself, opening up a TD for Magnus and the game would end 1-3.

Yes, it was a loss, but there was a happy ending to this ballad. IBHoD earned enough to buy a new warrior to fill out the the 11th position. And Vice has joined Glacier as a second muscle bound blitzer. Arinrjorn has realized his importance to any future greatness and has picked up his step a little.

Next the hairy ones will fight the new goblin team. With there 0-0-8 record against our 5-5-13 record, this one might be close! Then, the norse will get to hopefully replay their greatest hour in a match up against the Black Fire Blitzers, a team we mercilessly dominated two seasons ago. I am sure they are ready for the rematch!
