“A true manhandling by the opposition. In the Storms' opening game, they apparently weren't quite ready for the big leagues. Veteran Warseer coach Yorkiebar and his necromantic team took it to the Storms early, knocking out and injuring elves left and right. Werewolf Ulfhednar brought the ball strong up the middle supported by fellow werewolf Vargulf. Fortunatly for the Storms, a daring blitz by Saeryn popped the ball loose, and after some elfy dodging, allowed Uriel to throw the ball to safety into Serene's arms. The rest of the team tried their best to hold off the opposition, and fortunatly were able to score just before half time.

Tragedy struck at the beginning of the second half, as immediately after receiving the kickoff, Lilith was knocked out by a speedy Ulfhednar. Eager to send the wolf into the crowd, Kando blitzed him up against the side board but ended up knocking himself out and only slowing down the wolfman. Unable to recover from losing the ball so deep in their own half, the Zombies scored early and it was up to the remaining six elves to hold them off for the rest of the game. A blitz from the defense nearly ended their drive before it started, but fortunatly the speed of the elves let them break through and get a pass off before they were swarmed by werewolves. A failed dodge by Aislin left the Storms unable to score before the game ended, but they still managed to keep the filthy undead to a draw.
